In the adorable 55 second video My Little Holy Struggles To Climb Step, an adorable little puffball of a dog — the aforementioned Holy — discovers that despite his small stature he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to… or, at the very least, he can make it over the doorstep.
Here then are 5 life lessons (complete with screenshots, click to enlarge), as gleaned from the video:
1. Goals should realistic and attainable. Saying, “I want to throw my furry little body over this inch and a half stoop in front of me” is a smart goal. Saying, “I want to leap majestically over ALL the steps!” is just crazy when you’re not even a foot tall.
2. Barking at a problem never solved anything.
3. Try approaching your hurdle from a different angle.
4. Sometimes you just need to take a quick break to gather your thoughts and recuperate.
5. Always take a moment to look back over your achievements and celebrate them.
